We build the bridge between employers and veteran talent.
Want to be a veteran destination employer?

Eversmann Advisory is a bespoke consulting firm specializing in bridging the gap between organizations and veteran talent. Because we speak the language of both veterans and corporations, we translate veteran hiring opportunities into rewards for your organization. You see the value of this talent pool -- we build the bridge between you and veteran talent.

We design your Military Relations Program (MRP). We collaborate with your organization to help you develop an MRP that strategically embeds veteran talent into your organization -- an organization that wants to invest in veteran employees, invest in the company’s future success, and invest in the provision of stability for post-9/11 veterans in the midst of their “transitions.”

We implement solutions. We go beyond veteran recruiting and staffing, working alongside our clients long term to create a full service customized program. With experience that spans across the military and to the commercial sectors, we tailor strategic solutions to meet client's significant hiring needs to ensure a program for sustained success.
We go beyond opening doors for our Nation's veterans. We believe strongly that it is beneficial to both parties to find alignment at the onset of the hiring process.

Our capstone product, SyncronicitEA™, is a military relations program that optimizes and assimilates veteran onboarding and prepares the CHRO, hiring managers, talent developers, and other stakeholders involved to best understand military candidates and new veteran hires.

The modern organization needs to align development opportunities with veteran aspirations and establish an environment that is both supportive and realistic about the veteran’s prospects. This keeps great veteran talent in the best companies for a longer period. Eversmann Advisory aligns your organization's goals regarding veteran talent acquisition, deployment, and development.
Matt Eversmann, Partner & Chief Disruptor
First Sergeant (ret) Matt Eversmann personifies the importance of duty, courage and selfless service to succeed when ordinary circumstances become extraordinary challenges.

On October 3, 1993, Matt was placed in charge of a group of Army Rangers to lead a daytime raid against an eager enemy militia. His inspiring story of survival was immortalized in the epic film, Black Hawk Down, which recounts the harrowing experience. For his actions on the battlefield he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal with Valor device.

During his remaining time in uniform, he worked at the Army War College, taught at The Johns Hopkins University and finally deployed to Iraq where he lived with the Iraqi Army for 15 months during The Surge. He remained on active duty until May of 2008, when he retired after 20 years of service.

His frustration with the typical hiring process for veterans fueled his desire to help others avoid the “veterans predicament” —great servicemen and women overlooked because of the status quo. He and his wife Tori founded Eversmann Advisory in early 2018. Their mission is to connect great veterans with exceptional employers who realize their value.

Represented by Keppler Speakers, he is also a published author, The Battle of Mogadishu, and documentarian. His film “Send Me” is in post production. He and Tori live in West Palm Beach, Florida with their daughter and two black labs. Matt is a big fan of his Big Green Egg, travel and is an aspiring surfer.

Tori Eversmann, Partner & Chief Creative Officer
Tori Eversmann never shies away from a challenge. In addition to co-founding Eversmann Advisory in 2018 with her husband, retired First Sergeant Matt Eversmann, the soldier who inspired the lead character in the book and movie Black Hawk Down, she also is an author and professional speaker. Her first novel, The Immortals, was published in 2015. Tori is a former high school and collegiate polo player, cooked on yachts in the West Indies, worked in event planning and new business development for Sylvan Learning Systems and the Calvert School (Baltimore), wrote and photographed a cooking blog called Fig-n-Fennel, and is the co-host of The Veterans Nation podcast.

Amid adversity during Matt’s 15-month deployment to Iraq, Tori worked tirelessly as a single parent, a cheerleader for her husband’s wounded men at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and as the conduit of information from the battlefield during her husband’s deployment. Emboldened by her front row seat to the “veterans predicament” -- veteran talent that is overlooked for myriad reasons -- Tori collected all her experiences to start the grassroots movement with Matt to challenge the veterans predicament and educate Americans on this untapped resource.

Tori received her B.A. in English/Creative Writing from Skidmore College and currently lives in West Palm Beach with her husband, daughter, and two dogs where she enjoys travel, paddleboarding, cooking, mountain hiking, and reading.

"We [veterans] all have so much to contribute and have honed skills that are needed in the civilian community. Finding that place with comeradery, purpose, and esprit de corps is possible. That is the veterans hope once we transition back to civilian life. Filling that void is the most important step in reducing the risk [of suicide, homelessness, and unemployment]. I implore you to reach out to Eversmann Advisory and spread the movement. Matt Eversmann's passion, approach, teaching, coaching and mentorship is beyond reproach. Having served with this fine individual in quite possibly the most dangerous A/O
in 2006-07 I can personally attest there is no one who pours more blood, sweat and tears into
creating successful results for us veterans."
- Jon Eyton, former Army SSG, Operation Iraqi Freedom 2006-2007
